Used since antiquity, this all natural traditional Choji oil is the go to choice for keeping blades corrosion free for lifetimes to come. If all goes well in life, the #1 enemy of your blade is moisture. Choji oil will penetrate any and all microscopic crevices (yes your blade has them) pushing moisture out and preventing any moisture from coming in.  Simply apply a thin coat to your blade with a soft cloth or rice paper after use, and you're done. While everyone has their own methods... most apply a coat after every use, and every 3-4 weeks of storage.
Wipe once more before use to remove any excess oil which may be present.
