Vtg Head-Master FIRE DEPARTMENT Dress Uniform HAT, Puritan - Sz 7, WOOL Parade

You are bidding on a wonderful vintage fire department dress uniform hat.  This wool hat is identified as a Head-Master made for the Puritan Clothing Co.  The buttons on the side are marked FD, for fire department although there is no town to identify.  The hat is in good condition although the top has some discoloration.  Still a terrific item.  I'm unsure of the exact date but I'm guessing 1960's or earlier.
I use the US Postal Service and use priority mail to ensure quick delivery although size/weight can often be a deterrent due to a balloon fee on boxes over a certain size. Shipping costs are based on weight and distance from my home in Fairhaven, MA. In simplest terms, I ship priority mail unless it is a book (then I ship using media mail) or if the item is bigger than a breadbox or heavier than 5 lbs (unless I can fit it in a flat rate box).
I've been selling on Ebay since 1998 but this is not a full time job.
