Vintage International Silver Co National Airlines Flatware 12 Forks 12 Spoons

Welcome! Up for bid is this vintage lot of 24 pieces of International Silver Co. silver plated flatware manufactured for National Airlines. There are 12 salad forks and 12 dessert spoons with a simple, yet elegant, pattern. The forks are approx. 5 7/8" and the spoons are approx. 5 3/8". They are all marked "International Silver Co." and "NATIONAL" on the back. My late father worked at National Airlines at JFK from the late 50's until they merged with Pan Am in 1980. I found these while helping my elderly Mom go through some drawers and she believes these were used in first class. I washed them and used a silver cloth to remove some tarnish, but they could use another cleaning. They were used, so they will have some various scratches, but I didn't see any major imperfections and they should last for many years to come.
