    Description

This listing is for a pair of genuine United States postage stamps issued in 1893 to commemorate the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago which celebrated the 400th Anniversary of the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus. The stamps feature Columbus in Sight of Land and the Landing of Columbus. The stamps are in lightly cancelled, postally used condition.
(Any faults do not detract from the overall appearance of the stamps. There is a small pinhole on the two cents stamp.)
AVOID SURPRISES AND DISAPPOINTMENT: THE STAMPS SHOWN ARE THE ONES YOU WILL RECEIVE AND ARE NOT A "STOCK PHOTO" AS PICTURED IN SIMILAR LISTINGS.
These stamps would make an excellent addition to any collection of Columbus, American History, World's Fairs or Chicago memorabilia. FREE clear plastic protective display holders included. Thanks for looking!
