On September 11, 2001, 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Almost 3,000 people were killed during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which triggered major U.S. initiatives to combat terrorism and defined the presidency of George W. Bush.
THIS WAS ISSUED BY THE LAS VEGAS POLICE DEPARTMENT TO HONOR THE VICTIMS OF THESE THREE INCIDENTS. THE PATCH IS FULLY EMBROIDERED AND MARKS THE 20 YEAR ANNIV OF THE WORST 102 MINUTES THAT CHANGED AMERICA'S HISTORY.
I HAVE ONLY SEEN A FEW OF THESE PATCHES, IT IS FULLY EMBROIDERED AND IN MINT CONDITION. IT SHOWS THE TWIN TOWERS, THE PENTAGON AND FLIGHT # 93 THAT CRASHED IN PENN.

**** The US Post Office has been in some kind of funk in that it is taking longer than normal shipping time for items to get to the buyers. Shipping is $ 4.25 WITH TRACKED SHIPPING in the U.S. and $ 8.75 out of the U.S. as foreign postal rates have increased a lot! The rates for international shipping are higher due to required US Customs forms for multiple items being sent.
