Dietz Racket Pre-1915 Antique Brass Skater's Skaters Lantern

Shop smart with BlurryRobot!  This antique Dietz Racket skaters' lantern is made of brass, as well as some steel parts and of course the globe.  The bottom of the fount is one of those steel parts, as is the heavy wire globe support and bail.
This lantern is not ready for use without some repairs.  While the burner trim works and the wick seems to be good, the burner seems to have gotten somewhat stuck in the fount when the former owner painted this lantern blue.  It does rotate a bit, so the burner may possibly be worked loose.  As well, the steel wire globe support has come loose from the hole it was originally soldered into, in the top of the fount.  The whole  lamp has a certain slanted appearance, which probably happened when it was dropped or kicked at some point...it certainly has a lot of little dents and dings and appears to have been well-used. But all of this could certainly be repaired, and the lamp is complete with its original globe.
Painted blue by former owner.  Original unmarked lug-grooved globe with bubbles and other glass imperfections.  Well used lantern, looks like it was dropped or kicked at some point.
Globe retainer rod is broken loose from fount at one end. Burner seems to be stuck in fount. Much rust on bottom of fount.
