    Description

    Columbian Exposition 1893 Lace Tablecloth 83"x 70" Antique Christopher Columbus
    This is an antique lace tablecloth that measures 83" x 70" and features a Christopher Columbus theme. The center panel shows Columbus with Native Americans on shore with ships in background. The upper left panel depicts Columbus with Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand on their thrones. Lower left panel illustrates sailors on bow of ship as they discover seeing land of the New World ahead. Other panels are of scenes on the ship with Columbus & his sailors. The table cloth may have been a wall display item...note that the two upper panels are viewed best from hanging position rather then as seen draped on table where they would appear upside down. There are a few holes and stains but over-all good order considering the age. I am pointing to a few holes in some photos. The color is white.
