Chicago 1893 Columbian Exposition Rub Glass Butter Dish Excellent Condition

From my personal collection - a stunning ruby glass butter dish which is inscribed "World's Fair 1893" on one side and "Bertha Lotz" on the reverse.  6 inches in height and the 8 inches in diameter along the underplate.  Excellent condition.  There are about three or four small chips along the inner edge of the underplate (which is very common to butter dish when the cover is placed down onto the plate) and three places where the red ruby ran onto the clear plate (which occurred when the piece was made).  This piece displays beautiful -- I don't think my photographs capture how fantastic this piece truly is.  Definitely a great addition to any Columbian Exposition collection.  Don't miss out on this one!!!
