    Description

    Antique Railroad Caboose Wall Mounted Oil Lantern.  In very nice condition.  Has been painted.  This measures 20 1/2 inches in total height.  Has coiled wire holder for chimney.  Includes wick and Eagle burner knob turns easily.  I have another one of these on ebay that was painted a cream color.  A friend's grandfather worked for the Norfolk & Western Railroad in Ohio for years and he believes it was his grandfather who acquired these back in the early to mid 1900's.  I believe this was probably made by the Handlan Company of St. Louis.  Heavy...
