1900 UNIFORM /HAT BADGE
Antique Philadelphia Fire or Police Uniform or Hat Badge. Features a shield supported by two blank faced ladies–one holding a scroll, the other propping up a basket of fruit–their feet wrapped in a ribbon reading “Philadelphia Maneto.” Appears to be Gilt over Tin? Enamel center. Measures approximately 1 3/4"" high and 2" at the widest. CIRCA, 1900 or very early 20th century..
CONDITION: Overall, very good to excellent condition. minor gilt lost, missing two holder on rear. pins that attached badge to cloth are slightly bent. The black on the rear looks cleanable. General wear to be expected...
