Oblong folio measures 17.5 by 14 inches. (Actual photo images are 14 by 11 inches.)
The book is complete and in good condition.
All 80 prints are present and are separated by tissue.
The cover is worn and it appears that the spine may have been repaired at some point (the leather is split along the spine.)
The prints are in very good condition for the most part. Some have finger smudges and the last three have a half inch tear along the top edge (does not effect the image.)
Some of the tissues between the prints are in rough shape (wrinkled and/or torn.)
W. H. Jackson is best known for his western photography, but the images from the 1983 Chicago World's Fair are also highly sought after. Individual prints from this series are often listed for 0 to 0 dollars. (In reality, they are often sold for between and dollars, though some of the more sought after images do sell for close to 0.)
I originally bought the book to break it up for the prints, but found that I could not bring myself to take a knife to it. I guess I like books too much to actually dismember them!
