    Description

    This is an original 1893 souvenir 14 scene fold out medal of the World's Columbian Exposition Chicago World's Fair.
    This 2 and 1/8-inch round embossed aluminum "Faux Coin" folds out with a pull on a thread to show 14 various color paper views of the fair grounds and buildings.
    One side is marked "Columbian Souvenir Medal Chicago World's Fair 1893" with an illustration of Columbus and the dates 1492 and 1892. the other side is marked "In God We Trust US Man of War" with a ship illustration.
    Scenes include 2 panels of a bird's eye view of the Fairgrounds, Manufacturers & Liberal arts, Government Building, Agricultural Building, Administration Building, Machinery Hall, Horticulture, fisheries, Gallery of Fine Arts, Illinois State Building, Woman's Building, Electricity Building, and The Republic"(see photos).
    A very unique souvenir from the Columbian Exposition of 1893.
    Will be sleeved in plastic and shipped in a padded envelope protected by cardboard for a safe delivery.
